Creator Guidelines
Keep it Yisu.
Made to be remixed. Built to stay Yisu.
- Keep the face
- Use original creator artwork or explicitly approved canonical Yisu assets. Keep the face, glance and halo recognizable. No automatically generated replacement characters.
- Change the joke, not Yisu
- Add your situation, caption or punchline. Match the reaction to the expression in the drawing.
- Credit the real creation
- Use accurate attribution. Never invent creator handles, dates, popularity or engagement. Canon entries need a verified source, creator and date.
- Keep it original
- Do not introduce recognizable third-party trademarks or products into newly generated artwork without express approval.
- Know the context
- Historical edgy creations can belong in the archive. Smoking imagery should not define the new international Yisu identity.
